We are the descendants of Grandfather Desterio Ousuru Marijala — gathering, supporting and building one another from elder to grandchild.
We exist to bring every descendant of Desterio Ousuru Marijala into one register — supporting one another through welfare, education, contributions and celebration, and preserving the values that hold us together.
A strong, self-sustaining family that knows its lineage, walks in love and respect, and leaves a legacy of unity, faith and progress for every grandchild yet to be born.

ExploreThe Ikaruok — meaning "the triumphant ones" — are celebrated as the principal warriors and defenders of the Iteso people of Kenya and Uganda. Migrating south with the wider Ateker family, they became the shield of the nation: guarding settlements, recovering livestock, and celebrating victory in song.
Today the clan has grown into over 270 sub-clans — and our family, descended from Desterio Ousuru Marijala, carries this legacy of unity, courage and heritage forward.
